Wednesday Hugs-April 28, 2021

Good Morning! It’s our last Wednesday of April 2021. Yes, my friends, we are moving right into May. Let’s decide right now that God is going to bless our day.

I am sending Wednesday hugs your way. I pray you are able to catch one. This hug is sent with love and care.

Let’s make each moment count today. Once a single second is gone, we cannot get it back. It is gone forever. So, let’s make every moment, every second count.

Let’s leave regrets in this month and not take them into May. Let’s take only positivity and happiness into the new month.

With this hug, I’m saying, “Be encouraged, be calm, be safe and stay in God’s peace. No matter what anyone else does or says, stay calm and be joyful in the Lord.”

I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer for encouragement. Pray this prayer with me and believe that God hears our prayers and He is going to bless us all.

Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful, last Wednesday of April. We praise You in advance for keeping us safe for the rest of April and into May.

Lord, You know what is going on in each of our lives and You hear our prayers. You know our struggles, our worries and our fears. And, most importantly, You know our hearts.

Some of us have days in which we feel we cannot go on. Many of us haven’t found employment as good as what we had before the pandemic and we are struggling financially.

But we know that You have never failed us and You will not fail us now. You are still on the throne and You are still in control.

We need You, Lord, in every moment of our lives. We need You in our homes, in our workplaces, our schools, public spaces and everywhere in between.

Take away our fears and strengthen our faith. Remove our racing thoughts and calm our minds. Renew our hope and help us to always believe in miracles.

Heal anyone who is still struggling health problems. Heal us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Heal all Your people, heal this land and the whole world.

Remove cancer, diabetes, liver disease, heart disease, kidney disease, arthritis, lupus, hypertension, and all other illnesses we are struggling with.

May we always place our trust in You, Lord. We sometimes worry and lose our trust. But we pray that our trust is strengthened as we learn the power of prayer and trust.

Remind us that better days are ahead and that You are with us. Help us to always place our faith in You and rely upon Your power to bring us out of the darkness into the light.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
