I’m sending Friday hugs your way. I hope you can reach out and catch one. This is a huge, caring hug and it is sent with lots of love. So, don’t miss out. Don’t let these hugs pass you by.
Today is the day we love so much. We smile more, laugh more, and we have a little more skip in our step. Even though some of us are going into work or doing things you have to get done today, it is still our favorite day.
I want to pray a simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for all of us.
Dear God, Please be with us today and through this weekend. You have given us this day and we thank You for waking us up and letting us see this Friday.
Lord, many of us are going through hard times. Keep us safe and keep our eyes and our hearts focused on You. We cannot make it without You.
When we have things going on outside our control, remind us that You want us to live in peace. You do not want us to live in chaos and confusion. Remind us to just breathe and depend on You.
Remove our worries and fears and place Your peace in our hearts. Guide us away from drama-filled situations and protect us from danger and harm.
Please reach down with Your healing hands and bring love and peace into any and all situations that need You. Remind us to love each other and treat each other with Your kindness.
For everyone reading this who is dealing with the loss of a loved one, please be with them and give them Your comfort and peace. Help them to remember the good times and always celebrate spending good times together.
For everyone reading this who has lost their job, restore employment for them and make a way for them. Give them a job that is even better than before.
Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, arthritis, lupus, hypertension and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Take away pain and bring joy and happiness into our lives. Be with us all today and strengthen our faith in You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Even though I can’t physically be with you all, I still want to send you out a Friday hug to let you know that God loves you and I love you too.
