Sunday Hugs-October 9, 2022

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24. Good Morning, my friends! Happy Sunday! I pray you woke up with a smile on your face and peace in your heart.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. ~John 3:16.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~Jeremiah 29:11.

I want to send a prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is going to bless us. Remember, with God all things are possible.

Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful, blessed Sunday. We are so thankful You woke us up on this second Sunday of October 2022. We know that it is a blessing to be alive and breathing.

Lord, thank You for caring for us. Your love and care are unlike any other. We know that You care so much for us that You gave Your only Son so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.

We know that You know what is best for us and we know that You are doing things for us, rearranging things, and  giving us favor with others.

May we always stop to remember that when things are going wrong, You are preparing us for better days ahead. You are making a way for us and restoring everything we need to be happy.

For everyone praying this prayer, who is going through tough times, please make a way for them. Give them good health, abundant finances and happiness in their lives.

Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.

Lord, we know that You are keeping watch over us. Matthew 18:10-14 tells us about the shepherd who leaves the 99 sheep to go and find the one that’s gone missing. When the shepherd finds the lost one, he rejoices more over finding one than he does over the 99 that did not go astray.

That’s the way You are with Your children. You are always bringing us back into the fold and we are so thankful.

Today and always place Your peace in our homes and our hearts.

We know You are with us. We know You are in control and we know that You are worthy to be praised. Thank You for Your never ending love and care.

Be with my family and friends this week. Give them a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace.
