It’s our favorite day, my friends! Good Morning and Happy Friday! It’s our fourth and last Friday of August and it is going to be a wonderful, blessed day.
Let’s decide right now that it is going to be great. No matter what happens today, don’t let anyone take you out of God’s peace. And take that peace into the weekend with you.
I’m sending Friday hugs your way. I hope you are able to reach out and grab one. Don’t let them pass you by because these hugs are meant to make you smile.
Use this hug to place a smile on your face and peace in your heart. Let it bring you calm and wrap you in a determination to keep smiling.
I want to pray a short prayer for your day. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God hears our prayers, He is faithful and He is in control.
Dear God, This Friday is a gift from You. We are so thankful our names were on the wake up list. We are privileged to have another day to seek You, seek Your plans for our lives and to be a blessing to others.
Lord, we know that You know our heart. No matter what anyone says about me, no matter what anyone thinks about me, all that matters is that You know my heart.
I am so thankful for our lifeline to You–prayer. I don’t know where I would be without Jesus and prayer. I am so thankful to You for both.
Remove worry, anxiety and chaos from our lives. We cannot focus on You if we do not have peace in our hearts. Guide our feet away from trouble, harm and chaos.
Heal our bodies and remove all pain and suffering. Heal those suffering with diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, cancer, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses that we are struggling with.
Bless all of us economically and financially. Give our families the ability to abundantly provide for their loved ones. Move us up in our employment, give us raises and renew our strength and energy for our jobs.
Be with us all today and this weekend and strengthen our faith in You. Renew our hope and recharge our soul.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Even though I am not with you physically, I pray that you feel this hug and the blessings sent with it. This hug is caring and meant especially for you. Friday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
