Decide that you are going to have a blessed day today! Decide that you are going to have a blessed, wonderful weekend. Don’t let anyone make a decision for you about how your day is going to go. Only you can do that. You already know that God woke you up and, therefore, He must have someone out there who needs you…something out there that He needs you to take care of.
Take that positive attitude into the weekend with you and you’ll have a great weekend. That’s not to say that every single thing will be cheery and bright, but you will be focused on thankfulness for your blessings and not on the problems you may have.
Just remember that no matter what happens, there is nothing that you, together with God, cannot handle. He will not give you a task that He thinks you cannot handle. He doesn’t set you up for failure. He sets you up for success. Every single time. God wants you to be successful, He wants you to be happy and He wants you to live each day knowing that He walks beside you. He wants you to know that He’s got your back. He wants you to know that His love is never ending and His grace envelopes you as you go about your day.
Be a blessing to someone today. Share your smiles and your goodness with everyone you meet. Be kind to people, even those who don’t show kindness back. It is a reflection of your character, your walk with God.
