Good Morning, my friends! Happy Friday! It’s not just any Friday, my friends! It’s Mother’s Day Weekend Friday! It’s going to be a great day.
This day going to be blessed, positive, filled with happiness and it is going to be a beautiful start to our Mother’s Day Weekend!
I’m sending Mother’s Day Weekend hugs your way! This hug is to bring you encouragement and to say, “God loves you, He cares for you and you are not alone”.
Depending on where you are located, this Mother’s Day may be unlike any other in our lifetime. Most of us still cannot be close enough to our families to spend time with them.
So, you may not be able to physically be with your Mother on Mother’s Day, but you can share this virtual hug with her.
Keep believing that God is working things out for us. He is making a way for us and making our spaces safe again. I believe we will be able to spend quality time with our loves ones soon.
I also wanted to pray a simple prayer and send it with this Mother’s Day Weekend hug. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings sent with it:
Dear God, Thank You for bringing us through the week and to this beautiful Friday. You’ve protected us, blessed us and given us the strength to keep going.
We pray for all the Mothers who, even during this pandemic, have remained strong, kept the home fires burning, and who have prayed without ceasing for their children and grandchildren.
We thank You for giving strength to our mothers and for giving them the ability to be nurturer, teacher, counselor and friend.
For all the mothers who are separated from their families on Mother’s Day, please wrap them in Your loving arms and let them know they are not alone.
May we remember that better days are coming and our next Mother’s Day can be celebrated together. We trust that You are making our spaces safe again.
Make our Friday a beautiful start to a beautiful Mother’s Day Weekend. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

My Mom just got there also. This will be my 1st Mother’s Day without her.

My mom paased away in 2008 at a young age. She was everything a mother should be: loving, kind, giving, nurturing, compassionate, and sacrificed her whole life for her seven children. She is always with me in my heart snd thoughts. May she rest in peace and know that we loved her and miss her very much.
