Good Morning, my friends. I pray you had a blessed and beautiful Easter. It was a different Easter for us, but God blessed us and He woke us up to see another beautiful Monday.
I’m sending Monday hugs to you. This hug is to help you start your day, your week with a smile, to give you a spark of hope in your heart and it’s to say, “God loves you”.
I think Holy Week and Easter Weekend took my mind off the Coronavirus for a while. I still tried to stay up-to-date on the statistics, but I let Holy Week and Easter fill my mind.
And I think it helped me. I think it probably helped all of us to have something to focus on other than the virus statistics and all the projections related to the virus.
There does seem to be some good news in that they are now projecting far fewer negative outcomes than they had in the beginning. That is wonderful news.
But we can’t stop our praying. We have to remain steadfast in our prayer and our adherence to the public health recommendations on how to stay healthy.
And we have to stay home until we know for sure that it is safe. I know you don’t want to hear that. I don’t even want to say it. But, it’s true.
We can’t risk going out and creating the conditions that made us so vulnerable in the first place. We’ve worked too hard and prayed too hard to let that happen.
Start this week out with hope in your heart and soul. Hope that we are beginning to see that we are making a difference. Hope that things are going to be better soon. And remember:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. ~Psalm 91:2-3.
We are going to make it through this. God has not brought us this far just to abandon us. No way. He is going to bring us out of this dark time and we will be made stronger.
Today, whenever you need a hug, remember that this one is here for you. And remember that God loves you, cares for you and He will never leave you. New Week Monday Hugs!
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
