Good Morning, my friends! Happy Sunday! Welcome to the first Sunday of 2022! This the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24. I pray you woke up feeling blessed, loved and happy.
I’m sending Sunday Hugs your way! I don’t want you to miss out on this hug because this hug is sent with blessings for your New Year.
Also, I’m sending a short prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is going to bless us. Remember, with God all things are possible.
Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful, blessed Sunday. We are so thankful You woke us up on this first Sunday of 2022. Our first thought each morning should be, “Thank You, God, for waking us up”.
Lord, we thank You for everything You are going to do for us this week. We are moving into January and we are going to do everything we can to make our 2022 better than 2021. And we are going to stay focused on You.
Let this week be one of open doors, new relationships, new and better ways of doing things, more laughter, good health and abundance of us and our families.
Lord, we know that You brought us through 2021. The past two years were the hardest years in most of our lifetimes. We experienced so much loss. But You never left our side and we are so thankful for You and Your goodness.
We are standing on your promises, Lord, and we are believing in You and Your power. We know that You can move mountains and You can take everything meant for our harm and turn it into something good for us.
If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you. ~Matthew 17:20.
Lord, we always want to praise You. We want to praise You, not just on the good days, but on the bad days too. Make our trust so strong in You that our faith never wavers and hope stays alive in our hearts.
Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are dealing with.
Give us new opportunities, restore jobs, replinish finances and make a way for us and our families. Bring Your peace to our homes and our hearts.
We know You are with us. We know You are in control and we know that You are worthy to be praised. Thank You for Your never ending love and care.
Be with my family and friends this week. Give them a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
May you blessed today and every day. Sunday hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

Thank you so much. I cannot tell you how much I needed that. I just lost my entire family at the end of June and have been homeless now for months even though I have the money for rent, an eviction is holding me from getting a home for me and my children. 2 of which are disabled. We are cold and I’m at my breaking point. No one will help us and I don’t know what to do. My mother died at the end of June and I don’t know how to function without her and my family. But her death ripped my family to shreds. I truly feel lost and abandoned. I will do my very best to keep your prayer with me. Thank you so very much.
