Good Morning, my friends. Welcome to our first Sunday of September 2020. It’s our first Sunday of September and let’s agree right now that it is going to be a blessed, beautiful day.
I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you! Let this hug put a smile on your face and peace in your heart. I’m sending it to say, “God loves you and cares for you”.
In our area, most Churches are now open, at least for some capacity. And it feels good to be able to say that. God has really blessed us. And I, for one, am so thankful.
We have come through some very difficult times. And we are still going through them. Some don’t think it is safe enough to go out and still remain home to ensure their own safety and others’ safety.
Always remember: But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from evil. ~2 Thessalonians 3:3.
God is our refuge and our strength, an ever present help in trouble. ~Psalm 46:1
For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. ~Psalm 91:11.
God will cover you with His protection. He will give you calm in times of chaos and He will bring peace to your heart and home.
With this hug, I am praying and sending the prayer with your hug: Dear God, We humbly ask that You provide a shield of protection over us all. Keep us safe from anyone or anything that would do us harm.
For anyone who is sick and suffering, touch them with Your healing hands. Restore good health to our bodies, our emotions, our spirits and our finances.
Replace our worries with Your peace and remove our fears and anxieties. We know that You are with us, You are in control and You can heal Your people.
Help us be a blessing to others. Remind us to treat each other with kindness and let us reflect Your love each day. Let us serve as a light for others to be brought to You.
For those who lost their jobs, restore even better employment for them. For those who are continuing to go into work every day, bless them and keep them strong.
Be with us each day this week. We want to keep our eyes and hearts focused on You and we want to draw closer to You. Guide our footsteps away from drama and negativity and surround us with positive, happy people.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
