Sunday Hugs

Good Sunday Morning, My Friends! I pray you had a very blessed July 4th and I pray you woke up with happiness in your heart. I pray that you feel the presence of the Lord today.

Today is going to be a blessed and beautiful day. Remember, This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24.

Your July 4th was probably different from this Holiday in years past. Most fireworks celebrations, parades and cook outs were canceled to slow the spread of the virus.

But, I hope you were able to celebrate, even if you stayed home. And I hope your today is peaceful and filled with God’s blessings.

Be still and know that I am God. ~Psalm 46:10. God wants us to live in His peace. He wants us to just be still and let the peace of God into our hearts, into our homes and into our lives.

I’m sending Sunday Hugs your way! I don’t want you to miss out on this hug because I’m sending blessings with it. So, try to reach out and grab one.

With this hug I am saying, “God loves you. He sees every teardrop that falls, He knows every heartbreak that you are dealing with and He hears your prayers”.

No matter what is going on externally, God will fill your heart, mind and soul with His peace and strength. He will remove your fear and give you courage that you never thought possible.

This is my command, be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. ~Joshua 1:9.

I want to send a prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is going to bless us. Remember, with God all things are possible.

Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful, blessed Sunday. We are grateful that You woke us up and we get to see this beautiful, first Sunday of July 2020.

Lord, please bring an end to the virus. Keep Your people free from exposure and keep us vigilant in doing what we need to do to stay safe.

Lord, bring peace and calm back to our Cities and restore our feeling of security. Make all our spaces safe and welcoming to all Your children.

May we love one another as You have commanded us. We know You are with us. We know You are in control and You are going to bring us through these trying, difficult times.

Be with my family and frends this week. Give them a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace.
