Hello and Good Morning, My Friends! Happy Thankful Thursday! It’s our third Thursday of August 2022 and I woke up with a thankful heart. I pray you feel thankful that you woke up.
I’m sending Thankful Thursday hugs your way. Even if you are sleepy and you just don’t want to get out of bed, I hope you are able to get one of these hugs.
These hugs are sincere and sent to let you know that you are never alone. God is always with you. If you ever start to doubt it, read Deuteronomy 31:6:
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave or forsake you. ~Deuteronomy 31:6.
So, let’s thank Him and praise Him! God has brought us this far and He will carry us all the way through. Keep believing that better days are coming.
I want to pray a short, simple prayer for our Thankful Thursday. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for us.
Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful Thankful Thursday. We are thankful You woke us up. This day and each day is a gift from You and we are so thankful.
We are all thankful for our many blessings. Our blessings of good health for our families, our friends, our freedom and all the little things in our life are all blessings from You. And we are thankful.
Even though we have a few aches and pains, we are alive, we are up and moving and we are able to look around us and see all the blessings You’ve given us.
Most of all, we are thankful that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.
Where would we be without You and Your Son, Jesus? Thank You for blessing me and my family and moving us forward through our days, weeks, months and years. We know it is You who’s been there for us.
Reach down and touch us with Your healing hands. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.
We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. May God bless you and fill your heart with thankfulness, peace and happiness. Thankful Thursday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
