Happy Thankful Thursday of Christmas Week! It’s our third Thankful Thursday of December and we have an extra special thankful heart this morning because we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Wake up! Don’t miss the good news. These hugs are sent with love, care and a sincere Christmas greeting to bless you and your family. Share this hug with everyone you meet and remind everyone that Jesus is the reason for the season!
I want to pray a short prayer for your Christmas Week Thankful Thursday. Please pray with me, believe in God and the power of prayer and receive the blessings that the power of prayer can bring to you.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up on this beautiful Thankful Thursday. Each day is a gift from You and today we are celebrating Your most precious gift, the birth of Jesus Christ.
Lord, if anyone praying this prayer feels alone, send Your Christmas blessings of love and comfort and let them feel Your presence.
Send Your mighty angels to protect us and take anything meant to hurt us and turn it into our good.
Give us a day filled with bright skies, happy moments, kind people, smiles from our families and friends, peace in our hearts and joy in our souls.
We are all thankful for our many blessings. Our blessings of good health for our families, our friends, our freedom and all the little things in our life are all blessings from You.
Most of all, we are thankful that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose birth we are celebrating. We are so thankful for Jesus.
Lord, this year has been hard for many of us. Many of us have lost loved ones. Some have struggled with health problems. And some have struggled in their workplaces.
Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
For those who are dealing with the loss of a loved one during the Christmas Season, give them Your comfort and peace. Let them know they are not alone and that You are always with them.
Let this day restore and renew our hope. Strengthen our faith and teach us to trust in You. Where there is faith, where there is hope, miracles happen.
Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.
We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. May God bless you and fill your heart with thankfulness, peace and happiness. Thankful Thursday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
