Thankful Thursday Hugs

Good Morning and Happy Thankful Thursday, my friends! God woke me up today and I am thankful. And I am also thankful you woke up and you are here.

This is our fourth Thankful Thursday of July 2020. Believe that God is going to bless your day and give you even more reasons to be thankful.

I’m sending big, caring hugs your way. This hug is to let you know that you are loved, you are valued, you are important, and God sees you and knows your heart.

I am thankful for everyone and everything God has blessed me with. I am so thankful to have God in my life. Without Him, I am nothing.

God has blessed me in so many ways. I thank God for my family and friends and their good health. I thank God for my home, food to eat and the clothes on my back.

I thank God for my freedom and, most importantly, I am thankful that God gave His only Son so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.

I want to pray a short, simple prayer for our Thankful Thursday. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is on our side, that He loves us and He is working things out for us.

Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful Thankful Thursday. We are thankful You woke us up on this fourth Thursday of July. May we never forget that we need You on the bad days and on the good days.

May we never forget that You bless us every day, You guide us every day and You protect us every day. And we are thankful.

No matter what we are going through, may we remember that You have not left us and we all have a choice to be thankful. We can choose to give You thanks.

And I choose to give You thanks. I choose to be thankful for all the good in my life. Even though there are things going on outside my control, I still thank You.

Lord, please end the health crisis across our Country right now. For those who are sick and suffering, touch them with Your healing hands and make their recovery fast.

Lord, some major US cities need Your mighty hands upon them. They need Your love, Your guidance, Your protection and Your intervention.

Be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bring happiness, joy and security into our homes, our workplaces, our public spaces and into our hearts.

We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
