Tuesday Hugs

Good Morning, my friends! Happy first Tuesday of August 2020! I pray you had a blessed start to the week yesterday and that your evening brought you peace.

And I pray you woke up today with a smile on your face and peace in your heart. If something happened yesterday that threatens to steal your peace today, give it to God.

No matter what it is, let God have it. He already knows what you are dealing with. He loves for us to trust Him and give our worries to Him.

You may be going through hard times. These past few months have been hard for a lot of us. You may be feeling like God has left you.

But He has not left us. He is here for all of us. He hears each prayer you pray, even those prayers prayed through your tears.

Sometimes, He doesn’t answer your prayers until you are ready for the answer. Or, many times, He has something better in store for you.

With this hug, I am saying, “God loves you and He is with you. He will never leave you. No matter what is happening externally, remember, God is in our hearts and He gives us His peace”.

With this hug, I am sending you peace, joy, smiles and a short, simple prayer. Pray this prayer with me and believe. Always believe that God hears our prayers.

Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful gift of a new day. We are grateful You woke us up on this first Tuesday of August 2020.

Lord, I pray this great Country wakes up and turns to You. I pray that we all realize that we need You to guide, heal and protect us.

Bring a complete end to the pandemic and continue to end the unrest in our Cities. For anyone suffering with sickness or pain, touch them with Your healing hands and end their pain.

Heal us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Restore our health, make our bodies and minds strong and renew our spirit.

For everyone who has lost their jobs or their income, please make a way for them. Give them jobs better than the ones they had before and increase their finances.

For everyone reading this, visit their homes today and leave with them Your blessings of joy and happiness. Let each person know that You are with them.

Take away our worries and anxieties and give us a peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
