Friday Hugs-February 13, 2026

It’s our favorite day, my friends! Good Morning and Happy Friday! It’s our second Friday of February and the day before Valentine’s Day! And it is going to be a wonderful, blessed day. God is going to bless us. He already has because He woke us up!

These Friday hugs are extra special because it’s the beginning of Valentine’s Day Weekend! I hope you feel the love with every hug!

Let’s decide right now that our day is going to be great. No matter what happens today, don’t let anyone take you out of God’s peace. And take that peace into the weekend with you.

I want to pray a short prayer for your day. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God hears our prayers, He is faithful and He is in control.

Dear God, This Friday and Valentine’s Day Weekend are gifts from You. We are so thankful our names were on the wake up list. We are privileged to have another day to seek You, seek Your plans for our lives and to be a blessing to others.

Lord, use this prayer and this hug to touch everyone praying this prayer. May this hug wrap everyone in Your loving care. And use this prayer to bring us happiness and peace.

I believe You are hearing our prayers. You may not always answer when we want You to answer. But we know You hear us and You answer us in Your perfect timing.

We need You in every part of our lives. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our every day lives, that we forget to seek You, to listen to You and to pray. We become impatient and lose our trust in You.

Help us, Lord, as we learn to wait on You, Lord. We have seen that You are working things out for us. Forgive us when we don’t wait on You, when we are impatient and when we lose hope.

Lord, we need You more than ever in every part of our lives. We need You in our homes, our workplaces, our schools and everywhere in between.

Remove worry, anxiety and chaos from our lives. We cannot focus on You if we do not have peace in our hearts. Guide our feet away from trouble and chaos.

Heal our bodies and remove all pain and suffering. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, liver disease, kidney disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.

Bless all of us economically and financially. Restore the financial health of our families and everyone in need. Restore jobs and provide opportunities for people who are out of work.

On this Friday before Valentine’s Day, I pray that You mend and restore our broken relationships. Remind us of the love You have shown us and teach us how to show loves to others.

Be with us all today and this weekend and strengthen our faith in You. Renew our hope and recharge our soul.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
