Good Morning and Happy Friday! Welcome to our favorite day, my friends! It’s the fourth Friday of July and I pray your Friday and your weekend are blessed.
You may be feeling like me–really sleepy and not wanting to get out of bed this morning. But, come on, get up and catch one of these hugs as they fly by!
Today is the day we love so much. We smile more, laugh more, and we have a little more skip in our step. Even though some of us have not gone back to work, and we are still staying home, we still love Friday.
I definitely need a hug. You may too. This has been quite a week. But, today, I feel like I can slow down a little bit, I can sit for a while and just be.
Everything is going to be alright. God is working on your behalf right now. Be patient and trust Him. Don’t let the negativity you see on TV and hear on the news take root in your heart and mind.
I want to pray a simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for all of us.
Dear God, Please be with us today and through this weekend. You have given us this day and we thank You for waking us up and letting us see this fourth Friday of July.
Lord, this week has been hard for us. We’ve been worried this week about the pandemic and unrest situations across our Country. But we know You are working things out for us.
Lord, worry and fear can be debilitating. They steal our joy and happiness and make us sad and stressed. We want to live in Your peace and joy.
Remove our worries and fears and place Your peace in our hearts. Keep us peaceful and calm throughout the day and throughout our weekend.
Please reach down with Your healing hands and end this pandemic and bring love and peace into any and all situations who need You.
For everyone who is sick and suffering, please heal their bodies and restore their good health.
For everyone reading this who is dealing with the loss of a loved one, please be with them and give them Your comfort and peace.
For everyone reading this who has lost their job, restore employment for them and make a way for them. Give them a job that is even better than before.
Take away our pain and bring joy and happiness into our lives. Be with us all today and strengthen our faith in You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Even though I can’t physically be with you all, I still want to send you out a Friday hug to let you know that God loves you and I love you too.
