Mother’s Day Weekend Hugs-May 7, 2021

Good Morning, my friends! Happy Friday! It’s not just any Friday, my friends! It’s Mother’s Day Weekend Friday! It’s going to be a great day.

This day going to be blessed, positive, filled with happiness and it is going to be a beautiful start to our Mother’s Day Weekend. No matter what happens, stay in God’s peace and remember to honor God and show your appreciation for your mother.

I’m sending Mother’s Day Weekend hugs your way! This hug is to bring you encouragement and to say, “God loves you, He cares for you and you are not alone”.

Keep believing that God is working things out for us. He is making a way for us and making our spaces safe again. I believe we will be able to spend quality time with our loves ones soon.

I also wanted to pray a simple prayer and send it with this Mother’s Day Weekend hug. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings sent with it:

Dear God, Thank You for bringing us through the week and to this beautiful Friday. You’ve protected us, blessed us and given us the strength to keep going.

Last year, Lord, we were unable to be with our mothers and our extended families on Mother’s Day. I pray that everyone reading this prayer is able to be with and celebrate Mother’s Day with their mothers and families.

We pray for all the Mothers who, even during some very hard times, have remained strong, kept the home fires burning, and who have prayed without ceasing for their children, grandchildren, and our extended families.

We thank You for giving strength to our mothers and for giving them the ability to be nurturer, teacher, counselor and friend.

Where would we be without our Mothers who are our friends, advisors, care takers and the best role models for our children?

For all the mothers who are separated from their families on Mother’s Day, please wrap them in Your loving arms and let them know they are not alone.

And for everyone who has lost their mother, may they celebrate her life and remember all the good times they had with their mother.

Touch our mothers with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, arthritis, lupus, hypertension and all other illnesses our mothers are struggling with.

Lord , remind us that this year our situation is a lot better and even better days are coming.

Make our Friday a beautiful start to a beautiful Mother’s Day Weekend. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
