Good Sunday Morning, My Friends! It’s our third Sunday of August 2020 and I pray it is a blessed, peaceful day for you. Sundays are special. Although we praise God every day, Sundays are set aside for time with God and family.
I’m sending Sunday Hugs your way. I never want you to feel like I am forcing a hug on you. I am simply saying, “If you need a hug, one is here for you. All you have to do is reach out and grab one”.
A lot of Churches in my area are still closed. People are afraid to get out and be among others. Not just in Church, but everywhere. No matter what your decision is about going out, don’t let fear rule you.
Remember that you do not need to be in a Church to worship God. No matter where you are, God is with you. He hears your prayers and your cries for help. God will open doors, create opportunities and restore you in every part of your life.
I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for us.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this beautiful, third Sunday of August 2020. You kept us safe during the night and we are so grateful. We are grateful that we woke up with praiser You in our hearts.
Lord, we know that You are bringing a complete end to this pandemic. We know that everything works in Your timing. We pray that You end the spread and heal anyone who is sick and suffering.
Restore our good health for our bodies, our families, our homes, our cities, our states and our Country. We know that You are not the author of confusion and chaos. Bring Your peace into our homes, cities, states and our Country.
Be with us this week and help us be a blessing to others as You have blessed us. Even though we have been worried and afraid, may we always be thankful for Your many blessings.
We know You are with us. We know You are in control and You are going to bring us all the way through this pandemic. We are standing on Your promises.
Give us a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
May you blessed today and every day. Sunday hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

I’m thankful for technology that allows me to worship online, in the safety of my home! I worship God every day when I look out the window at a hummingbird at the feeder, or a butterfly on the flowers, or robins waiting in line for their turn in the birdbath. I Encounter God in the Sacredness of everyday life. Amen
