I hope your Sunday is blessed, my friends. Happy fourth Sunday of October 2021. I pray you are having a beautiful weekend and I pray that God blesses you and your family on this beautiful Sunday.
Remember, this is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24.
I’m sending Sunday Hugs your way. I am not trying to force a hug on you. I am simply saying that I love you, I care for you and God loves you more than you can imagine.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. ~Psalm 46:1-2.
Though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. He says, “Be still and know that I am God”. ~Psalm 46:3, 10.
I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for us.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this beautiful, fourth Sunday of October 2021. You kept us safe during the night and we are so grateful.
Lord, we are entering a new week and we are thanking You in advance for everything You are going to do for us this week. We pray that we walk close to You and listen intently for Your voice.
Lord, please heal anyone who is sick and suffering. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Remove all our fears and anxieties and increase our trust in You, Lord. Let us feel Your presence and shine Your light on our paths.
Bring Your people together in Your love, compassion and kindness. Show us ways to be blessings to others and let us serve as a light to bring others to Jesus Christ.
Place Your peace in our hearts and homes. Let peace begin within us, in our hearts so that we may take peace with us everywhere we go.
Be with us this week and bless us as we start and end each day with prayer and a thankful heart.
Even if we encounter something this week that worries us or makes us afraid, may we trust in You and may we always be thankful for Your many blessings.
We know You are with us. We know You are in control and we know You will never leave us. We are standing on Your promises.
Give us a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
May you be blessed today and every day. Sunday hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
