Thankful Thursday Hugs-January 8, 2026

Friends, let’s decide that we’ll keep a thankful heart all day long! Good Morning, My Friends. Happy Thankful Thursday. It’s our second Thankful Thursday of January 2026. I pray you were thankful when you opened your eyes this morning. I pray this prayer because we have so much to be thankful for.

If you are reading this, you should have a thankful heart. If your eyes were opened by God, if your heart is beating thanks to God, you should have a thankful heart.

I’m sending Thankful Thursday hugs your way. With this hug, I am saying to you, “God bless you. Keep the faith. Keep hope alive in your heart. God is working things out for us.”

Will you pray this prayer with me? Pray and believe that God hears our prayers and He works everything out in His perfect timing.

Dear God, Thank You for waking us up on this beautiful Thankful Thursday. We are blessed to be alive, to be breathing and to have another day to seek Your plan for our lives.

We know that each day is a gift from You and our first blessing of each day is that we wake up. May we never forget to thank You first each day before we begin our day.

Lord, we are praying for everyone who needs You. Send Your mighty angels to protect us and take anything meant to hurt us and turn it into our good.

We are all thankful for our many blessings. Our blessings of good health for our families, our friends, our freedom and all the little things in our life are all blessings from You.

Most of all, we are thankful that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to be born of the Virgin Mary and who died so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.

Lord, many of us are struggling. We are struggling with illness in our families and among our loved ones. We have lost loved ones and many of our families and friends have lost hope.

Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.

Remove our worries and fears and give us hope for the future. Place Your peace in calm in our hearts and in our homes. Bring employment to the ones who are jobless. Restore finances to those who need a financial miracle.

Give us good health for our bodies, our minds, our emotions and our spirits. We pray for complete healing for ourselves and our loved ones.

Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.

We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
