Good Morning and Happy Sunday, my friends. I’m privileged to be able to share a few minutes with you this morning. God gave us this time together and I am thankful.
Remember, this is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24.
This Sunday is a beautiful gift from God. Believe it. We woke up, we are breathing, we are alive and well and I am thankful you are here.
I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you! Let this hug put a smile on your face and peace in your heart. I’m sending it to say, “God loves you and cares for you”.
With this hug, I am praying and sending this prayer with your hug:
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this new Sunday. Place a shield of protection around us, our families and our friends.
Go before us and make the rough roads smooth. Show us a way around any obstacles and strengthen us with Your strength and perseverance.
We are standing on Your promises in Your Word: Therefore we do not lose heart. ~2 Corinthians 4:16.
Do not be anxious about anything. ~Philippians 4:6.
God is our refuge and our strength, an ever present help in trouble. ~Psalm 46:1.
I will fear no evil, for you are with me. ~Psalm 23.
Lord, no matter how our last week has been, we know You are going to make this week a better week for all of us. Take away our worries and fears and draw us closer to You.
Lord, we remember that You are still on the throne. You are still in control and we know You can restore everything we’ve lost.
For anyone who is sick and suffering, touch them with Your healing hands. Restore good health to our bodies, our emotions, our spirits and our finances.
Heal our bodies and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, lupus, hypertension and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Place Your peace in our hearts and homes and show us ways to be peacemakers. We know that You are with us, that You’ve never left us and You never will.
Help us be a blessing to others. Remind us to treat each other with kindness and let us reflect Your love each day. Let us serve as a light for others to be brought to You.
For those who are financially struggling, bless them abundantly so that they may provide for their families and loved ones.
Be with us each day this week. We want to keep our eyes and hearts focused on You and we want to draw closer to You. Guide our footsteps away from drama and negativity and surround us with positive, happy people.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I pray that God blesses you and heals you. And whenever you need it, close your eyes and remember this hug and this prayer.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
