I hope your Sunday is blessed, my friends. Happy third Sunday of December. It’s our next to the last Sunday before Christmas Day on next Wednesday and we can already feel the anticipation and excitement of this blessed day.
No matter what happens today, stay in God’s peace and keep the Christmas spirit in your heart and soul.
I’m sending Sunday Hugs your way. With this hug, I am saying that God loves you, He cares for you and He loved us so much that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, so that we may be forgiven and live eternally.
I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for us.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this beautiful, third Sunday of December. You kept us safe during the night and we are so grateful.
I know that no matter where we are worshiping You today, You hear our praise and You hear our prayers. You are our safe place, You are our help, our peace and our calm.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. ~Psalm 46:1-2.
Though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. He says, “Be still and know that I am God”. ~Psalm 46:3, 10.
Lord, we are entering our week before the week of Christmas and we are thanking You in advance for everything You are going to do for us this week. We pray that we walk close to You and listen intently for Your voice.
Let everything we do this week be done in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. As we go about each day, may we remember the true meaning of Christmas and share the good news.
Heal anyone who is sick and suffering. Remove all sickness from us and let us enjoy the best health ever. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, anddiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Be with us this week and bless us as we start and end each day with prayer and a thankful heart. Help us be a blessing to others as You have blessed us.
Even though we have had a hard year and we have been worried and afraid, may we always be thankful for Your many blessings. May we count our blessings more than our problems.
We know You are with us. We know You are in control and You are going to bring us all happiness, joy and peace during this week of Christmas and always. We are standing on Your promises.
Give us a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
May you blessed today and every day. Sunday hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
