Good Morning and Happy second Sunday of December! I pray you are having a beautiful weekend and I pray that God blesses you and your family on this beautiful Christmas Season Sunday.
I’m sending Sunday Hugs your way. I am not trying to force a hug on you. I am simply saying that I love you, I care for you and God loves you more than you can imagine. So, use this hug to feel God’s presence.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~John 3:16.
I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is still on the throne, still in control and He is making a way for us.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this beautiful, second Sunday of December. You kept us safe during the night and we are so grateful.
The Christmas Season is such a blessed time of the year and we are so grateful that You sent Your son to us on Christmas Day. He was the greatest gift anyone could ever receive.
Lord, we are entering a new week and we are thanking You in advance for everything You are going to do for us this week. We pray that we walk close to You and listen intently for Your voice.
The past year has been hard on us, Lord. May of us are still struggling. Send miracles to everyone praying this prayer. Make a way for everyone and let this Christmas remind them of Your love and goodness.
Heal anyone who is sick and suffering. Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Lord, show us ways to be blessings to others and let us serve as a light to bring others to Jesus Christ. May we all remember the true meaning of Christmas and share the good news with everyone we meet.
Bring peace and calm to our homes, our workplaces, our worship places, and everywhere else. Let peace begin within us, in our hearts so that we may take peace with us everywhere we go.
Be with us this week and bless us as we start and end each day with prayer and a thankful heart. May we never forget to see our blessings each day.
We know You are with us. We know You are in control and we know You will never leave us. We are standing on Your promises in Your word.
Give us a week filled with Your blessings of grace, mercy, favor, abundance and peace.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
May you blessed today and every day. Sunday hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
